Retail Clerk and Shipper and Receiver

Matthews Medical Books, an employee owned company, is a distributor of medical and health science books and a leading contract operator of university bookstores. We have an opportunity for an individual who would like a fulltime position as a Retail Clerk and Shipper and Receiver at our bookstore located on the campus of the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York. (Best to live in either Eastern Nassau or Suffolk County.) Your work schedule would be five days a week, generally Monday through Friday AND No Evening Hours (except during our ?rush?).



Our candidate must be energetic, detail oriented, reliable, computer literate and able to lift up to 65 pounds. Some relative experience is necessary. Your primary responsibilities will include:



? Computerized receiving and shipping

? Sales floor stocking

? Retail Sales and Customer service

? Returns



We offer hourly pay relative to experience and ability and a benefits package, including 401(k) and ESOP.
