Retail Department Manager

Bosselman Inc., a family owned company with over 55 years of experience in the travel center industry. Bosselman?s is looking for highly motivated individuals to be Department Managers in our highest volume Bosselman Travel Center located in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Department Manager is responsible for overseeing total operations and maintaining the assigned department to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Job Requirements:Must have management training or the equivalent. Must have a basic understanding of P&L statements and budgeting reports. Must be able to develop a team atmosphere Must be able to maintain the safety of our guests and employees Must process outstanding communications skills and be an effective trainer Must be well organized and have the ability to multitask Must have a strong work ethic with a "do whatever it takes" attitude Must be able to work a 50 hour work week Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds Must be able to be on their feet for up to 10 hours at a time Must be able to supervise 10 or more people.

Management experience preferred (not required)
