 Job Title:  Retail District Manager position for UGG Australia Retail Stores

 

Summary

The Retail District Manager has direct supervisory responsibilities for multiple store locations nationwide. Deckers Outdoor Corp. owns and markets 3 distinct upper-market brands of footwear. The retail division channel operates both outlet stores and concept stores representing these brands. This position will be integral to building this strategic business unit. Overall responsibilities include creation and achievement of revenue goals and budgets in addition to administering operational controls for the stores. 

 

Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage, recruit, train and coach store management and associate teams in accordance with the culture and value of the companyAssist Director of Retail Operations with defining goals and objectives in order to coach retail staffMaintain consistent visual presentation standards and floor plans, and maintain the highest standards in every store Train and employ the best selling techniques through all of the store selling teamsReview sales and stock information in order to contribute to the division?s assortment contentDrive sales revenue through strong sales promotion setupsParticipate in the annual budge planning processManage actual expenses including but not limited to payroll, supplies, and other controllable expensesApply retail policies and procedures to inventory receiving and reconciliationContribute revisions and amendments to policy and procedures documents

 Position QualificationsB.A. Degree preferred.5 to 7 years experience as a district or regional manager with multiple store responsibilities in multiple states or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Pro and Oracle a plusExcellent communication skills  Experience in the high-end, luxury business categories and in the footwear business preferred.
