Retail Managers are responsible for managing all operational aspects of a company-owned retail store.  The primary objective will be to achieve or exceed sales plan for the store.  This will be accomplished by:  developing excellent customer service, developing and executing events and services, effective management and development of human resources, efficient payroll management and pro-active loss prevention management. 

 

Fulfillment of the duties for this position requires incumbent to have retail experience, strong verbal selling skills, organizational and time management skills, leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, a strong sense of urgency, the ability to adapt to change and the ability to train and motivate employees.  In addition, this position requires physical duties involving regularly lifting fixture parts and cartons weighing up to 40 pounds.
