POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


 


Responsible for item planning, purchasing, inventory management and control and merchandise analysis for product categories.

Prepare reports and analyze results.  Advise on trends, opportunities and make recommendations.

Prepare item plans, budgets and projections.  Work with operations, merchandising and vendors.

Monitor order and stock status to insure timely deliveries.  Manage overstock inventories through promotional plans, markdowns, etc.

Partner with Merchandise Manager to optimize sales and profit.


 


POSITION REQUIREMENTS


 


Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Attention to detail.

Experience with Excel and/or other planning operating systems.

Ability to excel in high-energy environment.
