Retail Planner / Decision Support

Are you the "Go To" person in your company when it comes to report writing in Excel or Access? Do you enjoy the report development side of your job as much or more than any other part? If this sounds familiar, then read on....

 

The ideal candidate will have both technical skills and retail buying or planning experience. The technical skills should include a strong Microsoft Excel and Access base including advanced functions and report building. A working knowledge of vba/macro programming within Office, and/or experience with the Microstrategy B/I tool would be a plus. The ability to compile data, automate manual process, and analyze information are all equally important in this position. The end result will be to provide better information and improve processes in varied levels and departments within the company. Responsibilities include development and analysis of reports, databases and applications utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and MicroStrategy BI tool to satisfy the needs of end users.

Qualifications include 3 to 4 years of experience in buying, planning or other retail areas, as well as technical experience developing reports, databases and applications using Microsoft Office and/or Microstrategy. Intermediate to advanced Access and Excel experience is also required. Microstrategy & SQL experience is a strong plus.
