Retail Product Manager Ladies Apparel (NPK)

This company is an industry leading multi-unit retailer focusing on Apparel, Accessories, and Home Products.  This growing organization is looking for a talented individual with Product Development experience in Ladies Apparel to join their expanding Product Management and Sourcing team.  This organization is looking for an individual that can manage all aspects of development from initial concept to final finished product.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


 


·  Manage the product development process for all Ladies Apparel categories.


·  Communicate cross-functionally between all teams and executive management.


·  Interpret direction on trend, color, fabric, trim, and concept for each season.


·  Negotiate costs and pricing.


·  Develop sourcing and product development strategies on a global basis.


·  Travel both domestically and internationally to research trend.


·  Partner with the Merchandising and Design teams to build a private label assortment that is trend right.


 


POSITION REQUIREMENTS


 


·  Bachelor's degree preferred.


·  5+ years of Product Development or Product Management experience in Ladies.


·  2+ years in a management roll.


·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.


·  Extensive overseas and domestic experience.


·  A great eye for trend.
