The Retail Sales Consultant-Kiosk position with Cingular Wireless has the following responsibilities:
? Provides a consistently excellent customer service experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy, confidentiality and professionalism.
? Capitalizes on mall traffic to generate new customer business at the kiosk location.
? Assists customers in gaining value through education of Cingular products and services through product demonstrations.
? Generates and follows-up on leads to increase customer traffic at the kiosk.
? Meets sales objectives for wireless phones, services, and accessories.
? Handles all administrative aspects of the sale including: completing customer contracts and warranties, pulling products from inventory, accepting customer payments and filing the completed orders.
? Maintains strong knowledge of new wireless products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
? Maintains knowledge of competitive offers and provides critical market feedback to the Kiosk Manager regarding local competition and product/service needs.
? Maintains awareness of mall events and additional sales opportunities.
? Handles service inquiries from customers.
? Maintains kiosk appearance to properly showcase phones, data devices, accessories, and wireless services.
? Responsible for kiosk opening and closing procedures.
? May work in other kiosks locations as business needs dictate.



QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
? A high school diploma or equivalent.
? Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
? 1-3 years of outside sales experience and/or previous mall retail sales experience.
? 1-3 years of retail sales experience with key holder/cash handling responsibilities is preferred.
? The ability to be assertive and professional in attracting passive/non-intender customers.
? The ability to act independently and multi-task in a fast paced mall environment
? Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
? Computer proficiency.
