Retail Sales Consultant, PT, Springfield, IL

The Retail Sales Consultant position with Cingular Wireless has the following responsibilities:
?Sells wireless phones, service and accessories.
?Consistently achieves sales quotas and customer service objectives.
?Provides information on products, accessories, service features, pricing plans, roaming and data.
?Handles administrative aspects of the sale including: completing customer contracts, verifying identification, running credit, preparing customer files, addressing local market promotions, pulling product from inventory, completing warranty paperwork, taking customer payments and filing finished order.
?Handles incoming calls for customer service, bill payments, upgrades, trade-ins, service changes, billing issues, returns, and general customer issues.
?Interfaces with other departments on customer's behalf when necessary.
?Responsible for cash drawer and daily deposit of customer payments.
?Responsible for store appearance.
?Successfully completes all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time frames.



QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified Candidates will possess:
?A High school diploma or GED
?1-3 years of retail sales experience with key holder/cash handling responsibilities.
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills
?Computer proficiency in MS Office
?Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
?Must be able to stand for long periods of time while servicing customers
?Ability to work in Team Environment

?Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
