Barton & Company, a 100% employee owned organization that has offered excellent customer service and products to contractors and do-it-yourselfers since 1885, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative in our Surplus Warehouse Division.  Surplus Warehouse is a discount building materials store that offers guaranteed low prices.

 

A Customer Service Representative assists customers, sells, and stocks merchandise in a building materials warehouse by performing the following duties:

 Offer excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions concerning availability, price, and use of merchandise, and by assisting customers to load merchandise into their vehicles.

 Cuts carpet, vinyl, padding, and related materials to size requested by customer.

 Moves materials and supplies from receiving area to display area and marks prices on merchandise.

 Safely operates a forklift and other equipment.
