Retail Sports Management

Shenk & Tittle Sports Clothing & Equipment is currently hiring Manager Trainee/Assistant Managers for the Frederick and Montgomery County, MD markets. Retail, sales, or customer service experience required. Sports, ski/snowboard, skate, experience preferred. Competitive starting salary, bonuses, health ins., vacation, and 401k. Job Purpose:

Supervising of staff; service customers in a retail environment

 


Duties:
* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 

*Developing a professional and knowledgeable staff by coaching, planning, disciplining of employees and appraising job results.

 

* Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.

* Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures

 

* Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.

* Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.



* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
