Retail Store Management in Summit County

Breckenridge Sports and Keystone Sports have immediate openings for Rental and Retail Managers in all locations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years previous retail or rental management experience, and knowledge of the sporting goods industry.?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:?

??Generate sales.
??Demonstrate and enforce an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service in order to maximize sales.
??Provide resources so that employees are properly trained in POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information, and sales/rentals generation.
??Role models and administers Company policies and guidelines. Establish store level expectations and guidelines.
??Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth (i.e. re-merchandising, contests, consulting buyers, interfacing with other departments.
??Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards (i.e. sized, folded, visually exciting, dusted and vacuumed)
??Manage inventory control (i.e. cycle counts, loss prevention) and meet inventory goals.
??Communicate any ideas or issues with the Regional Manager/Area Manager.
??Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures.
??Recruit, hire, train, and maintain a quality core staff.
??Manage operational budget (i.e. payroll, sales, margin and capital expenditures) Strive to achieve then exceed store contribution budget.
??Remain current on new industry products and trends. Demonstrate knowledge of products.
??Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of management staff on a regular basis. Conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
??Enforce and train staff on loss prevention policies and techniques.
??Create a rewarding environment in which to work, generate a team atmosphere.
??Maintain all Company paperwork according to policies and standards (i.e. human resources, sales audit, rental forms and payroll) ?
??Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of Assistants and Staff on a regular basis.
??Other duties as assigned.
