Vans is seeking a Retail Store Manager in Brea

Duties:
Manage and monitor sales productivity of associates
Maintain payroll and store expenses within established budget
Manage store staffing duties and develops work schedules for store associates
Monitor all assignments and activities of store associates
Provide training and motivation for new associates
Recruit and interview prospective associates
Analyze merchandise assortment and sizes
Ensure proper sales promotional setup of store and maintenance of sales floor and stock room
Ensure compliance with company security and shrink avoidance policies and programs
Monitor and ensure compliance with company's goal of acceptable shrink levels
Ensure proper banking procedures within company policy

Job Qualifications:
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, commissions, and percentages
Exhibits understanding of sales management programs
