Retail Store Systems Manager

Description

This position reports to the Vice President of Retail Systems

 

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited too the following

 

? Coordinate and deliver the Development, Management and Support of Store Systems, including

o POS Software

o POS Hardware

o Back-office support

? Store Manager?s workstation

? Stock Room functions (receiving, transfers, ticket printing)

o Store voice/data communications

o Sales Polling

o Sales Audit Systems

o Interface to Financials

o New Store Openings

? Partner with Manager of retail systems to design, develop, and manage, interfaces between store systems and other related systems

? Project management delivering technology for new store openings

? Store Systems Vendor Management

? Coordination of store infrastructure development and support with Ecko Corporate Infrastructure team;

? Establish store system standards consistent with the goals and requirements of Ecko corporate standards;

? Work with senior management of retail business, particularly store operations, in identifying and delivering improvements in store systems and processes

? Identify new technologies that can further improve the performance of the stores.

? Manage internal and external technical resources;

 

Requirements:

Skills and Requirements

 

? Must possess a strong knowledge of Store System components and configurations.

? Experience supporting store systems in a multi-channel retail environment

? Knowledge and experience in remote communications support and configuration;

? Proven capability of providing superior service and support

? Ability to travel to stores to assist in opening new stores, training and supporting new and existing stores

? Proven ability to communicate clearly with vendors and business partners, and present technical concepts as they relate to business issues; excellent ability to build and foster relationships (internal/external)

? Ability to manage complex projects employing a self-driven, objective-oriented style is essential
