Retail Stores - Store Manager 1

Effectively supervises all aspects of a retail store. This position is responsible for recruitment, selection, development and training all retail sales personnel. Guides and evaluates employee performance. This is a management position with responsibility for directing and coordinating the daily activities of the operations team including appropriate employee hiring, training and development. Consistently achieve sales objectives including activations, accessories, enhanced services and revenue goal. Tracks and measures reatil store performance. Effectively manages store payroll including overtime, effectively manages store operating revenues and expenses. Supports employees during the peak period or when scheduling conflicts arise. Successfully complete all sales and data training programs with the recommended time frame. Responsible for daily financial, accounting, and inventory control. Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Implements store promotions to achieve sales and financial objective within a timely manner. Assists in special projects or other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS

2-5 years relevant management experience in the telecommunications and/or retail industry. 3-5 years sales experience, including prospecting, telemarketing and/or outside sales. Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards. Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work
flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax. Ability to work at multiple locations within district preferred.
