SENIOR STATION MANAGER

Responsible for coordinating the in-fleet and turn-back of vehicles, resolving customer and employee relations issues, monitoring and updating daily rental rate quotations and coordinating staff scheduling. Supervises Station Manager, Rental Sales Agents, Shuttles, Bus Drivers and/or Service Agents.

 

  Strong knowledge of the car rental industry and operating procedures.

? Proficiency in the use of personal computer programs including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge and skill in the operation of the car reservation computer software. Good organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and direct the work of others. Strong sales orientation with the ability to motivate others. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of motivational sales techniques. Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization. Excellent supervisory skills. Ability to present a professional and enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression of Dollar to customers and employees. Fluency and proficiency in speaking/reading in both Spanish and English (this only applies to some locations). Bachelor?s degree in Business or a related field. At least 3 years experience in the car rental industry or a related field, including supervisory experience. Valid driver's license as required by state.
