Sales Analyst

Tommy Bahama defines elegant tropical living with men's and women's fashions, denim, swimwear, accessories and a complete home furnishings collection. Tommy Bahama, the purveyor of island lifestyles, is looking for a qualified Sales Analyst to join our National Sales team in the Seattle Corporate Office.

 

MISSION

 

Partner with Sales, Wholesale Accounts, Merchandising, Customer Service and Finance to facilitate timely production of weekly, monthly and annual sales reporting. Responsible for the overall sales/trend

reporting used by the Tommy Bahama Group Sales Management team to keep abreast of all Divisional sales activity.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

 

? Compile seasonal sales forecasts and ?actual? comparisons. 

? Prepare and distribute bi-weekly booking vs. projections reports and monitor seasonal

sales goals.

? Maintain and publish weekly sell through reports for Majors, highlighting key trends and

activity. 

? Develop and distribute ?key item? selling reports. 

? Assimilate data to forecast trends and communicate selling opportunities to the Sales Managers.

? Summarize and distribute weekly Nordstrom portal information, responding with inventory

opportunities on best sellers. 

? Analyze customer buy plans as needed, ensuring that they are complete and tie back to the

original forecast.

? Proactively communicate and trouble-shoot specific customer issues and selling opportunities with the sales team.

? Maintain collaborative relationships with Sales, Merchandising Customer Service, Finance, 

and Wholesale accounts as business needs arise. 

? Develop ad hoc reports as requested by the businesses and changing selling environments.

? Participate in special assignments as required.



 

EXPERIENCE, TALENT AND EDUCATION

 

? Bachelor?s Degree in Business or related field.

? 3-5 years experience in apparel planning, buying or related.

? Retail experience; emphasis and understanding of specialty retail preferred.

? Advanced experience with Microsoft Office required; including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

? Knowledge of Blue Cherry preferred.

? Strong problem solving and solution skills.

? Ability to exercise independent judgment.

? Strong analytical skills.
