Seasonality Analyst II

Petsmart,  a nationwide retailer of pet products, is currently seeking a Seasonality Analyst for our Corporate offices in NW Phoenix.  This positions provides analysis of sales vs. inventory to establish cost effective models on all seasonal and holiday items.  Generates weekly reports to be distributed to Inventory Managers and Divisionals, and must have the ability and knowledge to interpret any and all data as it pertains to these reports and seasonal items. 


Candidate must have the capacity to analyze reports, graphs and other various data from a multitude of resources; be detailed oriented and manage time effectively; manage and track seasonal items assigned by supervisor; generate ad hoc reports when required by Divisionals and direct supervisors; must have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.  A basic understanding of supply chain management is a must.

 

Requirements include an advance level of proficiency in Excel, highly organized and detail oriented, ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner, excellent written and verbal communication skills, stong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize projects, proficiency in Access beneficial and knowledge of DSS helpful.  A BS Degree and 3-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
