Senior Beauty Consultant

As the Senior Beauty Consultant inside JCPenney's SEPHORA store, you will lead the department in the Beauty Manager/Supervisor's absence. You will ensure merchandising and marketing reflect SEPHORA brand and deliver  maximum profitability.  You will engage customers with energy and passion.

 

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  Greets all customers with enthusiasm, provides courteous, knowledgeable service to customers, determines customer's needs and suggests products to meet their needs As a team member, assists in maintaining Sephora's merchandising concepts at all times, assists in maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization within assigned zone; Drawers, Price postings, Product lists.  Participates in replenishment, inventory control, and assists in the maintenance of Sephora's animation and events Leads the Department in the Beauty Manager/Supervisor's absence Is the "expert" in assigned product zone, communicates zone floor coverage needs to Beauty Supervisor or Beauty Manager. Ensures that product knowledge training is successfully completed; actively pursues additional product knowledge as needed. Observes and reports customer response to product items to Beauty Manager or Beauty Supervisor as assigned. Is knowledgeable of special events/animations within Sephora; assists in the maintenance of animations and events. Knowledgeable of cashier functions and duties. Monitor and participate in programs to reduce shrinkage. Ensure compliance with all JCPenney and SEPHORA policies and procedures

Performs other Sephora store related duties as assigned.  Leads and performs other Sephora store related

duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  2 - 3 years in retail service industry Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic math skills High school graduate Proficiency in a foreign language desirable Cosmetic experience desirable
