The Senior Business Consultant incorporates operational and corporate programs and policies are executed in all selling and support areas in a way that maximizes company profitability, including superior customer service and associate productivity. Monitors current processes and performance, alerting appropriate management of potential variances and takes action as required. Position collaborates with merchandising, legal, marketing, operations, credit, and all other formats and business departments and coordinates their efforts to formulate solutions to business issues and opportunities. The Senior Business Consultant compiles the business requirements, verifies and implements retail store business solutions.

Qualifications
- Works with operational and other management to ensure current and future policy direction is addressed in all activities under areas of responsibility
- Manages a core group of complex business projects and initiatives
- Consultants with other businesses, including Credit, Legal, Procurement, Merchandising, IT, etc. to ensure understanding of current business practices, requests for future process enhancements, and to support Store Operations concerns and positions
- Creates, develops and monitors processes and outcomes for operational components of any implementation as required
- Develops solutions to costly, inefficient issues, and seeks root cause information
- Works as a subject matter experts related to the business processes supported
- Reviews current processes through visits to field locations, including stores and support centers, to gain new ideas, and look for gaps that may need addressing
- Compiles all business requirements and integrates into a unified requirement that satisfies the needs of all business owners
- Provide information to the training organization to ensure that training may be accomplished according to the needs of all businesses
- Provides on-site implementation support during pilot and remote support to stores at all times.
- Confirms that all changes are properly executed and meet the needs of the businesses, based on submitted requirements
- Review all business requirements to ensure all needs are addressed in any proposed solution developed outside of the store operations team, i.e. Procurement, IT, 3rd party vendor, etc.
- Confirms that the business requirements are delivered in any solution
- Serves as mentor to Business Consultants
- Tracks business results, discovers and escalates issues as they are observed or reported.
- Systems expertise as it relates to business project management
