Senior Manager Sales, Stationary

Job Description: As the Sr. Manager of Stationery, this position is responsible for Developing and Executing strategic plans for Disney Consumer Product's Stationery division responsible for the Target Account. This position manages a multi property business including Franchise Brands, Channel Brands and Event Films.

Areas of responsibility include: Stationery, Party, Cards, Gift, and See Spot Save

Additional accountabilities:

Provide vision and customer insights for the Disney Branded consumer packaged goods categories

Lead Stationery direction in consumer marketing, brand management, strategic planning, new product development, event management, and business to business marketing

Develop and sell in all merchandising activities - ads, displays, end caps, signage, etc

Develop Joint Business Plans with suppliers and buyers

Lead Stationery on all cross LOB marketing initiatives

Development of new product ideas at Target

Work closely with Target operations, manufacturing and coordinated category management to develop opportunities for Disney, both inside of Target and with third party innovators

Work effectively with Burbank teams including Stationery, Franchise, Film, Synergy, and Brand Management to improve partner relationships and ensure contractual compliance

Responsible for P&L, budget planning on an annual basis and quarterly revenue forecasting

Performs general supervisory functions, such as hiring, corrective action and operating expense control

Work with TSS on initiatives where applicable


Minimum Education Required: Bachelor Degree in business discipline

Years of Experience Required: 5 years industry, 2 years Target

Candidates must be proficient in the following skills: Presentations, Negotiations, Communication, Business Management, MS Computer software and Planning, This role is based in Minneapolis with dual reporting in to the US GM for Stationery and to the VP of Sales for Target.
