We are presently seekingSenior Merchandise Planner with 5 - 7 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills with the ability to develop sales, inventory, flow, and margin plans that will result in our achieving Company goals.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detail unit and dollar merchandise plans at the classification level, plans and forecasts open to buy, prepare and present merchandise sales, inventory and gross margins forecasts at monthly planning meetings, will also be responsible for developing and managing stock to sales ratios and inventory productivity.

 

The successful candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication (oral and written), organizational, inter-personal and team-building skills in addition to the ability to interface successfully at different levels within the organization. This person should be a self-starter with excellent influencing and negotiating skills to getting things done in a fast-paced, team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, is required, knowledge of Arthur or TMMP a big plus.
