Shift Leader (Flint, MI)

- Achieve sales and customer satisfaction standards and goals through maximizing the customer's experience and the store's revenue by directly selling to customers. Support the training and development of store employees. Responsible for supervising and coaching Customer Service Representatives.

 

- Ensures execution and implementation of all phases of store operations under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Maximize sales and profitability through store presentation, marketing execution, inventory management, customer service, loss prevention, payroll management, and daily operational cost control.

 

Developing People
Address "on the spot" issues and recommend follow-up actions to SM and ASM.
Communicate employee relation issues to an appropriate higher level.
Supervise employees and assign shift duties in absence of SM and ASM.
Work with SM and ASM to receive training (in store and out of store if necessary).

Store Experience
Models and reinforces outstanding customer service and sales behaviors to maximize "customer delight".
Maintain store appearance to company standards.
Assist customers in selecting and checking out products.
Handle and resolve all customer issues.

Managing Expenses
Protects and manages company assets under direction of SM and ASM.
Partner with SM and ASM to maximize productivity, profit and margins.
Execute all financial management programs as assigned.
May open and close store as needed.
Help manage store revenue including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to bank as needed.
Assist in account maintenance.
Follow all operations procedures

Marketing Execution
Execute marketing an merchandising programs as assigned to achieve key result areas.

Other
Participate in ongoing communication with store management.

 

Required Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year prior retail sales/customer service experience

Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service/sales assistance

General knowledge of movies

Good communication skills
