Shipping and Receiving Associate - Clinton,CT

As our Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll assist store management by providing exceptional shipping and receiving, inventory control and related housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Unload, check-in and process apparel, footwear and equipment to prepare the sales floor
Support stock-to-floor process in a timely manner
Assist with proper merchandising procedures, including hanging and folding
Adhere to cleanliness and safety standards
Support a 24-hour product turnaround from back of house to the sales floor
Support the inventory control process
Execute all assigned tasks with timeliness and efficiency
Ensure timely and accurate feedback to management regarding the location of product
Ensure daily restock is completed and adequate size runs are represented
Assist in other store functions as needed
Requirements for this position include:
Must have or be pursuing a High School diploma or GED
Able to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Phone, 10-key and basic computer skills
Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English
Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service
