Shipping and Receiving Manager - Conroe , TX

As our Shipping & Receiving Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in supervising shipping and receiving, stockroom maintenance, inventory control, product management and related operations to the back of the house. You'll be accountable for driving the product flow of merchandise into the store, maintaining and managing to Units Per Hour standards, complying with OSHA guidelines and controlling shrink. You'll be responsible for utilizing tracking tools and reports to monitor in bound freight, execution and accuracy of the stock locator system per company directive and adhering to standards for miss-mates, obsoletes and defectives. You'll also support the management team in communicating business goals and accomplishments for sales, profit and margin. You'll be responsible to lead and develop a customer-focused organization that assists in bringing the Nike brand to life and achieves customer oriented key performance

initiatives and expectations. In addition, you'll be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent to ensure diversity and for executing training programs and monitoring metric performance while supporting and adhering to Nike HR and corrective action processes.

 

 

Requirements for this position include:
2 years' retail experience in shipping and receiving and inventory control
Bachelor?s degree
2 years' additional retail experience in shipping and receiving and inventory control in lieu of a degree
1 year of supervisory or lead experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office and retail business systems
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to build, lead and manage high performing teams
Ability to use tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
Ability to work evenings, weekends or holidays as needed
Ability to, with or without accommodation, have the proficient use of both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination.  This may include vision (near, far, color, glare control), hearing (auditory attention, sound localization), speech, strength, agility, dexterity, flexibility, steadiness or reaction time
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
