The Opportunity

As a Shoemobile Sales Associate for a Red Wing Shoe Industrial Store, you will develop and meet continuing sales and profit goals for the Industrial Mobile operation with the Red Wing, WORX and Carhartt brands and conscientiously project the national Red Wing Shoe Store brand.  Sales responsibilities will be split between the Shoemobile and the Red Wing Shoe Industrial Store (when applicable).  Responsibilities will vary based on business needs on a weekly basis.

 

Key Accountabilities

?  To promote and support the Red Wing Shoe brand by selling our image of high quality, large selection, and conscientious service to each retail customer, striving to the utmost to make a loyal customer as well as a sale.

?  Sell footwear by advising customer on proper selections, document sales, process payments, etc.

?  Shoemobile responsibilities include, but are not limited to inventory control, cash control, truck expense, travel expense, scheduling of truck maintenance, documentation of truck maintenance log, customer service and any other areas that will directly affect the profitability of the Shoemobile.

?  Perform on-site cold calls to develop qualified leads when traveling in areas where we have existing on-site mobile service available.

?  Arrange for follow-up Shoemobile visits as needed through direct communication with our on-site Industrial Accounts.

?  Replenish inventory via orders / insure proper handling of special orders placed at fittings.

?  Present proper Red Wing Shoemobile image with a neat and clean appearance, including wearing Red Wing shoes and Red Wing shirts while on duty.

 

QualificationsValid Drivers License required. Ability to pass basic DOT requirements, including a Drug Screen. High school diploma (or GED) and two years of sales experience.Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers. Willingness to learn, take direction and follow store policies. Dependability and flexibility with scheduled work shifts. Must be available to work weekends and evenings. Bilingual (English & Spanish).
