Specialty Retail District Manager

We are in search of a qualified Specialty Retail District Manager to be located within the Denver and/or Colorado Springs market who would like to be part of world-class chain of stores.

 

Family Christian Stores is a customer focused specialty retailer dedicated to the needs of people on a faith journey. We have over 300 locations in 38 states, a strong on-line presence, and solid plans for growth.

 

This district is one of our organization most visible districts making it an ideal career opportunity for the right District Manager. Covering 15-18 stores the territory for this particular District Manager position includes Denver, Colorado Springs, Greeley, and a portion of our west Texas markets.

As customary in many Specialty Retail Organizations our District Managers are actively involved in the following accountabilities for their assigned areas:

?  Oversee the measurable operational components for the district

?  Drive sales, financial management and ensure profit and productivity goals are met

?  Create and cultivate diversity within the district and are incorporating them into staffing as well as customer support and service

?  Create exceptional store experiences for our customers through sales ands service initiatives

?  Oversee the training and development of potential internal candidates, especially in the area of succession planning to achieve future growth

?  Cultivate a district approach toward public relations, events, promotions, and other community efforts

 

Requirements to be considered for this position:

?  5-7 years of Specialty Retail Multi-Unit district management experience

?  Proven results of driving and achieving measurable success within your area of responsibility

?  Passion for retail and meeting the various needs of the targeted consumer base within our stores
