Sr Analyst, Space Management

The Senior Space Management Analyst coordinates the maintenance of store space database for all SHC formats and the update processes that ensure space data is accurate. Development of customer focused tools that models, identifies and recommends action based on space productivity analytics.

Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for creating tools and reporting of space productivity data in a manner that is consistent, clearly understood and drives decisions. This is used by various business segments to assist in their decision making.

- Assimilate multiple cross functional data sources into one integrated decision making tool & process. This would enhance the flow of information to be used to layout, merchandise and analyze our stores,

- Manage & maintain all store and departmental space data. This information is used for analysis and decision support in various segments of the company.

- Model, recommend and present space data, with the Benchmarking and Merchandise Planning departments, to ensure space requirements & productivity metrics are accurately defined.

- Manage various projects as assigned by the Manager, utilizing project management tools i.e. milestone documents and project updates.

- Provide guidance, coaching and support to Space Management Analysts as well as the point of contact for unique business requests. Assists in the workload within the team to ensure completion of all projects within the established timelines.

- Involved in the development of Space Management process improvements, documentation, training and communication.

- Monitor and visit competitors to gain knowledge of industry "best practices" that can be incorporated to improve our processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

-Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent related work experience in space planning/space management.

-Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills required.

-Field Retail, Merchandising, Buying, store design or equivalent experience preferred.

-Proficiency in PC required, including excellence in spreadsheet and database use.

-Project or Team Management experience preferred.
