Sr. Replenishment Buyer / Analyst

Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position. Overall responsibility is to manage inventory levels in DC/Stores to maximize sales and meet company service goals, gross margin and inventory turn.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance
Ordering core merchandise and managing inventory levels at the DC and Store Levels; responsible for managing minimum volume of 150 million.
Complete operational analysis in all areas of the

 Replenishment department which include: vendor performance, inventory analysis, purchase order review and tracking, seasonality and profile review and item ranking; while meeting key performance indicators.
Development of weekly and monthly replenishment reporting of key performance indicators.
Support new initiatives arising from the Supply Chain task teams.
Complete analysis, reporting and projects as assigned by Director of Replenishment.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.
E-3 / JDA experience a must.
Experienced in managing replenishment strategies with volume 150M+ in inventory/retail dollars.
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration with concentration in supply chain management, mathematics, or finance preferred.
Three or more years of professional experience in replenishment and/or supply chain management
Ability to manager numerous projects of varying difficulty and duration.
Knowledge of Excel/Access/Showcase.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
