Store Director

Store Director Description: SUMMARY: The Store Director Role is a full time position for a National Grocery Chain located in Texas. Individuals filling this role will be an accomplished inspirational leader that can drive the business of the store.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
~Oversee and responsible for all aspects of grocery store operations.
~Continue to hire, train, develop and motivate staff.
~Set and achieve store and district goals.
~Achieve or exceed all required sales, margin and labor goals.
~Drive great customer service and be the face of the store in the community.
~Spend majority of time on the sales floor working with all departments on a daily basis.
~Uphold all company standards and initiatives.
~Oversee the schedule function to ensure forecasting and scheduling is done in most efficient manner.
~Help to plan out forecast and planning for seasonal and marketing campaigns
~Other duties as assigned.




Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
~Strong knowledge of store operations.
~Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
~Must have at least 3 years experience running a successful grocery/retail food store.
~Proven ability to lead and motivate large team.
~High energy with demonstrated strong motivational and communication skills.
~Self motivated and ability to prioritize.
~Excellent food and merchandising skills.
~Great follow through
~Ability to action plans
~Excellent organizer
~Degree or equivalent work experience.
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~Strong interpersonal skills (required).
~Ability to multi-task
