Requirements

Position Description
Share the responsibility for sales, profits and expense management of the store with the Store Manager.
Assist the store manager in setting and executing all work priorities and directing the assignment of individual tasks within the store.
Assist with customer service as needed.
Assist the Store Manager in training and execution of good customer service in the store.
Share with the manager a properly maintained store in compliance with Save-A-Lot standards.
Share with the Store Manager the responsibilities for a clean, neat, well- stocked and friendly store. Assist the Store Manager with the maintenance of all signs and togs.
Share with the Store Manager the responsibility for the implementation and compliance of all company policies and all accounting procedures in compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications/Skills
1 year of management experience required
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience in scheduling and merchandising
Budgeting and expense control experience a plus
Ability to manage high volume locations
