Store Manager- Custom Handbag Boutique

1154 LILL STUDIO is the original Design-Your-Own custom handbag concept established in Chicago in 1999. We currently operate boutiques in Chicago, Boston and Kansas City. We also sell our products on our website as well as through home and office parties across the country.

 

In our stores (online and at home parties) customers can either purchase a ready-made bag off the rack or, for the same price, can select from over 25 handbag styles and choose from 100?s of ever-changing fabrics to design their own one-of-a-kind creation.  Bags are handmade and shipped within 2-3 weeks.

 

We believe the in-store experience is just as important as the handbag. In turn, we are looking to hire a Manager for our Country Club Plaza location who can share in our excitement and passion and help facilitate this experience. We want every customer who enters the boutique to feel welcome and taken care of. We can?t stress enough the importance of amazing customer service- it is the core of what we do and who we are!

 

 

FULL-TIME MANAGER

40 hours per week Tuesday- Saturday  

 

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Revenue Generation:

? Achieve/Exceed personal and store sales goals and performance metrics through the implementation of revenue building strategies.

? Coach and develop staff to exceed individual and store goals.

? Establishing the Stores Selling and Service Culture

? Coach and develop staff to provide a world class shopping experience.

? Connect with your customers by meeting and anticipating their needs.

 

Operational Excellence:

? Achieve/Exceed all financial and operational objectives with regards to expense control, loss prevention, audits/checklists and weekly reports.

? Monitor and maintain compliance of all policies and procedures.

 

 Product and Visual Merchandising:

? Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with company brand standards and directives.

? Analyze market trends in partnership with Director Retail Operations to ensure an effective strategy exists that drives sales revenue opportunities and achieves visual merchandising standards.

 

Management of Human Resources/Creating Team Success:

? Create and maintain positive employee relations through building, leading and developing a quality store team.

? Ensure on-going specific and immediate coaching and feedback, and delivery of all performance documentation in a timely manner.

? Communicate with Director Retail Operations on coaching and conflict resolution.

 

 EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelors Degree preferred (Retail Management, Fashion or related field)

? 3-5 years of high volume store management experience.

? Retail Operations knowledge including: sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention.

? Staff Development Experience: Knowledge in staffing, coaching, counseling, training and development.

? Strong Computer skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office.
