Today, Goodwill Store and Donation Centers have become a mainstream retail outlet, specializing in a wide selection of goods. We are an expanding and dynamic retail operation fuled by customer demand for high-quality resale shopping experience. Our future is bright and we want to hire individuals with the same service commitment and drive to join our team. We are seeking experienced retail leaders to join our team as a Store Manager at our Delavan location.

This individual will oversee store operations, and help the team reach established goals. He or she will manage all daily store, production and donation center activities, maximizing sales while controlling expenses. Additional duties will include ensuring customer and donor service satisfaction, budget oversight, store presentation and staff development and supervision. This individual?s previous leadership experience and team building skills will help him or her effectively manage staff, and superior time management skills will help him or her manage multiple responsibilities.




The Store Manager's essential job functions include:



Ensuring appropriate stock levels are developed and maintained Operating the facility within budgeted expense levels Completing accurate sales, production, inventory, quality, donor and trucking reports Maintaining store presentation standards Promoting Goodwill's mission to associates, donors and customers Leading teams that provide fast, friendly service consistent with the Goodwill mission Assuring accurate implementation of operating procedures to attain maximum productivity and quality Improving customer service satisfaction; responding to customer questions and concerns Recommending changes that improve productivity and quality processes Ensuring Kaizen processes are followed Completing human resource functions, including screening, hiring, orientation, training, performance evaluations and employee corrective actions Maintains standards for store presentation, organization and layout of facility Assuring the facility operates with high priority on safety regulations and work rules
