Store Manager - Ogden

EZCORP, the publicly traded parent of the new EZ Loan Services chain of short-term loan stores is currently recruiting for a Store Manager and customer service personel with a love for field operations and a passion for customer service. The right person will enjoy interacting with people and will preferably have experience in the payday loan or related industries. This position will report to the Area Manager. We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays. We also require store managers only to work a forty hour work week.

 

We are opening three new locations in and around Ogden. We are searching for store managers and customer service associates to start as soon as possible.



Under general supervision of the EZ Loan Services Area Manager, this position manages an EZ Loan store engaged in providing short term signature loans. This position is responsible for complete profit and loss performance, collections and compliance in all aspects of the EZ Loan services policies and procedures, which include banking regulations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations to include, resolving store associate or customer issues, training store associates, communication and the growth of the store's portfolio. Is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of the payday loan process.

Tasks: Manages the daily business by: Conducting transactions, Conducting audits, Reviewing all files for accuracy and completeness, Conducting initial default calls, and Net default management. Understands and recognizes store business needs, profit and loss, and how to grow store revenue. Works with the Area Manager to set goals that will drive the business by reviewing and interpreting reports and recommending opportunities for improvement Staffs (recruiting, interviewing, selection process, and termination) the store with the appropriate ratio of full time/part time associates to build a successful team. Trains and ensures proficiency of store associates in transactions, customer service, and Company policy and procedure.


Requirements:

1. High School diploma or GED required and minimum of one-year supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Demonstrated knowledge of and responsibility for financial services, to include the ability to read and understand P& L statements.

3. Experience in revenue-generating capability.

4. Demonstrated supervisory proficiency in hiring, counseling, and coaching to include conducting performance management sessions.
