Store Manager and Sales Associates

As a retail store, SOHO LAB is a unique venue with a unique vision ? to break some rules and create some trends. The first Lab planted its roots in the heart of NYC?s SOHO district as a testing ground for forward lines and products.  Since then, the Lab?s lofts have also surfaced in Los Angeles and San Francisco to get a more comprehensive read on new offerings.

The SOHO LABS house such world famous brands as RHINO RED, MARK ECKO, 310 MOTORING, MARK NASON, ZOO YORK and MICHELE-K and our own SOHO LAB signature line of woman?s sport and dress shoes.

Job Responsibilities Include: 

 Driving top line sales Ensuring adherence of staff members to all retail policies and procedures Training and educating staff to increase knowledge and create high levels of motivation to inspire team to achieve results ? create a selling environment focused on customer service, brand awareness, performance objectives and recognition Analyzing various business reports to understand trend and opportunity Communicating, executing and managing marketing and visual merchandising initiatives to achieve Skechers brand objectives Maintaining proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions and maintain compliance standards for shrink control Recruiting, hiring, training, evaluation and counseling of store employees to effectively manage employee turnover and retention Working with District Manager and Human Resources regarding corrective counseling and employee separation 

 

Job Requirements for Store Manager candidates: 2 years minimum retail store management experience ? footwear background preferred Considerable knowledge of retail systems, HR practices, and retail operations Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiar with managing a centralized work force Computer knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 

 

Job Requirements for part-time Sales Associates:

Must be energetic, positive, customer service driven and have at least one year prior work experience, preferably in a retail environment
