Store Planner

 

 

Job Summary:

Assists in the conception, documentation, and management of complete merchandising programs for all new, existing locations and special projects.  Specific duties will include the maximization of customer service through the optimization of visual impact and above all efficient space utilization applying Party City standards.  Candidate will also ensure accuracy and intent through direct communication with Party City Corp., its retail stores and all construction personnel involved.

Store Planningmaintain linear assortment matrixpublish and manage an achievable schedulecreate and maintain visual databaseuse space mgmt. system for sales analysis maintain library of all store floorplans  & visual databasemanage relinear projects; provide all field documents 

 

New Stores and Special ProjectsCreate CAD floorplans for all new store openings preliminary fixture plan for Store Constructionfixture layout for calculation of fixture requirementspreliminary and final merchandising plansGenerate fixture orders based on requirements; submit to store construction Execute necessary floorplan / fixture order revisions to reflect changes based on construction or merchandising issues and adjustments Generate plans following new store process for remodeled and revised stores

Non-CoreRespond/react to store implementation questions and problemsBuild, maintain and document a complete portfolio of CAD based store fixture layouts for all operating sitesMaintain necessary PC based systems to maximize accuracy and productivityContinue to develop on all relevant PC based systems

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:





 

▪  Proficient in:  CAD Version 2004- Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Photoshop, and Powerpoint.

▪  Strong MS Excel

▪  Strong communication skills

▪  Maintains a professional attitude and is a team player

▪  Committed to company wide effort to provide excellent customer service as it relates to this function

▪  Ability to work efficiently in a fast pace environment

▪  Excellent in written and verbal communications skills required

▪  Ability to work in a team environment is a must

▪  Experience with Intactix Space Management system and Pegman preferred

 

Education and Experience:

▪  Bachelors degree

▪  2-3 years drafting work experience using Auto Cad

▪  Visual Merchandising experience
