As a Fortune 200 company with a focus on bringing the best products and solutions to their customer, they have grown to include roughly 40,000 Associates servicing more than 600 freestanding stores nationwide and 900 stores internationally.?The company markets a broad assortment of products.

 

In addition to retail stores, the company also operates a Direct Division that sells products via the company web-site and call centers.





Job Summary

 

The Brand Development Manager will play an instrumental role in developing and building the company's core brand initiatives, communications program (internal and external customers) and overall roadmap to support brand launch. This person will lead the strategic insight, analysis and interpretation of consumer, competitive and channel behavior/shifts to develop differentiated product/service propositions for priority customers. This person will ensure brand ideas are aligned with business objectives and gains internal support within various departments in the company.

Job Duties

 

Duties include the following:Lead the program to understand brand value, brand positioning, brand messaging and full understanding of the factors driving our client's brandProvides leadership in developing strategic focused brand plans designed to motivate consumers to consider the organizationSets corporate identity guidelines for internal and external customers and address how multiple touchpoints should align with the brand platformUses various internal research resources to understand consumer feedback and monitoring of the brand; providing recommendations and programs to support issues/opportunities.Ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of brand ideas and tactics Influences and persuasively sells ideas and plans to internal departments and gains support and alignment.Needs strong analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills that aid in the ability to quickly sort through necessary information, understand implications and provide recommendationsWorks with team to develop Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Tactics, and Measurements and supports the budget process for yearly Marketing plan.Develops marketing plans that deliver results through persistence and tenacity utilizing cross-functional teams.Possesses strong communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive for results.Works to remove any obstacles or barriers?/SPAN>Strives to understand and exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
