Account Executive - Advertising

Scotsman Publishing, Inc. is looking for a motivated Account Executive to join its dynamic team in Bothell. We offer an opportunity to earn unlimited commission in a growing industry ? and to join a hard-working sales team that has developed a formula for success.

Scotsman Guide is the LEADING publisher in the mortgage broker industry, with 17 of the Top 20 mortgage lenders advertising in it. Our revenue has increased exponentially over the past three years, and we continue to expand. This new addition to our sales team will be instrumental in developing and maintaining sales from existing and new accounts, primarily via telephone and email.

Currently, Scotsman Guide's monthly national distribution is 60,000 for its residential edition (up from 47,000 a year ago) and 29,000 (up from 19,000 a year ago) for its commercial edition.

The Account Executive will work join our existing four-person sales team. We offer base pay, plus unlimited commission opportunity and full benefits (fully-paid employee premiums for medical, dental, and vision, plus life insurance and retirement plan with employer match).

Responsibilities will include:

Selling ad space and ancillary products in print and electronic media



Establishing and developing business relationships with prospective advertisers and customers



Researching and identifying new prospects and recording their addresses and profiles in our customer relationship management database



Maintaining contact with assigned accounts to ensure that published information is current and to verify customer satisfaction



Attending national trade shows and meetings to promote ad sales (5-10 per year)



Preparing and mailing marketing letters and quotes





The successful candidate will have:

A Bachelor?s degree



2-5 years of inside sales experience (experience in advertising sales is preferred)



Intermediate level ability with Microsoft Word and Excel and CRM databases
