Burst Media, one of the largest internet advertising networks in the US, headquarted in Burlington, Ma. has recently launched a new division of the company, Burst Direct in Albany, NY.  Burst Direct provides advertisers with the ability to deploy online campaigns quickly across thousands of sites.  Advertisers can use Burst Direct to find the ?sweet spot? for a particular product, service, or offer by reaching out swiftly to millions of online consumers.  Our proprietary optimization technologies help advertisers maximize their online generation and acquisition programs through a variety of delivery methods and performance-based pricing models. 

Burst Media was founded in October 1995 by a group of experienced advertising and technology executives, all of whom remain within the company to the present day.  Established when the e-commerce phenomenon was just beginning to build momentum, the company began by representing a group of approximately 50 specialty-content Websites.  Publishers like these ? and the advertisers who serve their audiences ? endure as the primary focus of the Burst Network, which currently encompasses more than 3,400 Websites.

Burst Direct is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team. 

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for making outbound sales calls to Advertising Agencies and Direct Marketers who sell consumer products on a national level.  The AE is responsible for assessing clients? needs and recommending appropriate advertising solutions to meet their business objectives. The AE position will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and solution selling.  Knowledge of the advertising industry or media ad sales experience highly preferred.  This is an inside-sales position with limited travel required.
 
Requirements:

?  Excellent verbal and written communications skills

?  Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.com)

?  Internet Savvy ? experience selling on-line advertising highly preferred

* Consistent track record for developing new business and managing complex sales cycles from lead  generation to closing deals over the phone.

* Must posses a proven track record of achieving revenue goals.

* Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing industry.

?  Must possess the following core characteristics:  professional demeanor, team player & personal/professional integrity.

* BS/BA or equivalent experience
