Account Executive - Milwaukee
Transit Television Network is looking for an account executive in our Milwaukee Office. For an entrepreneurial, self-directed, highly motivated individual, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team. An outstanding income is achievable for those who can execute. You must be independent while simultaneously be held accountable for results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops local and national sales strategies with the regional sales manager by contributing key vertical market information, analysis, and recommendations for achieving sales objectives. Manages sales targets by estimating, forecasting, developing plans, activating accounts, and closing sales. Provides outstanding customer service; coordinates schedules with Headquarters in Orlando and insures quality control. Accomplishes sales and organizational goals by achieving quarterly results. Possesses a high ethical standard of responsibility to the organization, the team and to our clients.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Three years or more experience within the media sales industry selling to large local and national accounts. (preference: TV, cable, radio, out of home) Contacts with Milwaukee and Chicago ad agencies and media buying services. An understanding of the national ad agency landscape is desirable. Knowledge of key vertical markets including: automotive, QSR, entertainment, consumer electronics, beverages, mobile phones, teens. Experience with a contact management system such as ACT! or Goldmine. Adept at using research of various marketing and advertising data in support of sales proposals. Highly developed presentation and written communication skills are critical. Highly organized with a keen sense of detail is essential. Solid PC skills including word, outlook, excel, ECT.
