Account Executive - Training/HR/OD
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
A successful Ardent Account Executive sees what we can do in every situation and is capable and confident enough to make it happen. Alongside the experience and expertise is enthusiasm for the work and a personal sense of urgency to achieve excellent outcomes.
Has full-cycle accountability for client projects from proposal to project delivery and post-project follow-up. Independently leads and manages all internal and external aspects of client projects and is accountable for overall success of projects. Has primary responsibility for day-to-day client relationship management.
RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable for overall account performance, including billed revenue, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction ? this is a roll-up of all client projects. Works to continually build revenue by generating, closing, and managing new business opportunities ? including cultivating and growing existing client relationships within client companies as well as diversifying client base through new client relationships.Serves as the primary client contact, accountable for all communications and day-to-day client relationship management; and acts as an internal and external consultant/subject matter expert to bring consistency to client projects for maximum efficiency and quality.Manages project team, providing leadership, direction, feedback, and support as necessary to move through all project phases from proposal to execution and follow-up. Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships, showing impact and influence externally with clients and vendor partners and internally with project teams and staff.
PROFESIONAL QUALIFICATIONS7+ years experience in training/HR/OD field with direct experience as a consultant providing business services and solutions to Fortune 300 companies; and a demonstrated track record of positive change and growth in all positions held.Experience managing multiple priorities and getting results in a fast-paced, fluctuating, project-driven environment ? often with geographically dispersed and virtual teams. Exceptional, proven consulting and selling skills, including demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong professional network, source and close new business opportunities, and build and leverage strategic, long-term client relationships.Adept at working successfully in a continuous learning, team-based environment, including demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal project teams.Working knowledge of needs assessment, instructional design, instructional technologies, organization development, strategic planning and consulting, and web-based training.Willing to travel locally and regionally as frequently as every week. There is currently no established need to travel nationally or internationally; but the willingness and flexibility to do so is important, as it could be required as part of future client engagements.

LOCATION AND REPORTING
Position covers the New York Metro and surrounding areas ? remotely based as a ?home office? ? and reports to the Managing Director located in Rochester, NY.
