We are recognized as a technology leader in our industry and are currently looking for an OEM Account Manager to join our winning team! This position will be based out of a home office in the Southeastern part of the US (e.g. Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Alabama).

Primary responsibilities include developing new/existing accounts by providing applications solutions, and top-notch customer service and support, to reputable original equipment manufacturers in the packaging, robotics, machine tool, and other industries throughout North America. You will have the opportunity to directly impact SICK?s success by carefully researching accounts, developing long-term customer relationships, and being able to demonstrate how our superior products/services create real value for the customer?s process and bottom line.



Qualified candidates should have: a minimum of 7 years of sales and marketing experience in a technical field, with 2 years proven sales management experience; experience working with OEM accounts strongly desired; excellent technical aptitude, preferably with a BSME, BSEE/BSET, or related discipline; exceptional communication/presentation skills; strong time management skills with the ability to work independently; and a positive and professional demeanor. We are looking for someone who demonstrates confidence and composure in dealing with all levels of an organization, and who is goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve. Must seek out challenges and opportunities, aggressively pursue sales leads, and be innovative in approaching customers, while supporting the success of the team overall. To be considered, you must also have a valid driver?s license/good driving record, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel on a regular basis.
