Account Manager - Outside Sales

Abel-Womack Integrated Handling Solutions, a leading dealer/distributor of Raymond narrow-aisle electric forklifts and other sophisticated warehousing equipment and systems, is looking for a dynamic individual to aggressively seek new business in Suffolk County territory.



Minimal sales experience is required - we will train! If you have great interpersonal skills, good presentation skills, and a strong ability to relate sales objectives to customer needs and articulate business and/or personal benefits to the prospect in a way that will result in sales, this might be the position for you!



We are looking for candidates willing and able to learn the business and make a significant contribution to the continued growth of our organization.



The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying all prospects in the assigned territory, evaluating them as to potential and resources needed to develop for equipment and systems sales products. The successful candidate will prioritize all prospects with regard to volume, profitability and time to convert or establish. Development of sales plans that detail strategy, tactics, required support and timetables for attainment of sales objectives are also responsibilities.



The successful sales person will implement the sales plan by identifying potential customers, qualifying, and selling core equipment and related equipment and/or services to prospects.



Degree in marketing, business or related field preferred. One to two years proven sales experience in material handling equipment, commercial automotive/trucking or industrial equipment a definite plus! The successful candidate will have an ability to establish and develop relationships that promote sales of equipment, systems, and services on a continuing basis - not just short-term!
