Account Manager - Programs, West Region
As a key member of JDSU's communications products sales team, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of initiatives to enhance and enable the sales organization's realization of sales goals and customer satisfaction ratings.
Drive all aspects of customer satisfaction.
Secure customer order bookings and billings to meet quarterly business plan.
Negotiate price and maximize market share for product designed into customer programs.
Lead JDSU Tier 1 dedicated Customer Service and Quality resources .
Lead resolution of delivery issues with Customer Service and Factories.
Force timely resolution of quality issues with Customer Quality and Factories.
Bring closure on agreements on pricing and non-standard terms.
Identify, initiate and drive escalations.
Improve processes that result in higher customer satisfaction score of JDSU Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Organize Quarterly Customer/JDSU Senior Management Business Reviews
Weekly reporting of customer bookings and billings against quarterly business plan.
Monthly sales forecasting
Contribute to quarterly account planning process.
Work closely with members of immediate sales team to meet/exceed team quota and account objectives.
Qualifications
BS Business, Engineering, or Physics
5+ year's sales experience with direct accounts.
Stellar relational selling skills
Excellent prioritization, time management, and presentation skills.
Establish close personal customer relationships.
Excellent Excel & Power Point skills.
Proven ability to overcome objections.
Take responsibility and be fully accountable.
Manage customer interfaces across multiple organizations.
