Account Manager - Raleigh

Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC, formerly Cendant Car Rental Group, is searching for an Account Manager to join our Sales Department in Raleigh, North Carolina. This job contributes to Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC's success by maximizing revenue potential within a previously established portfolio of corporate accounts and ensuring the timely and effective opening of new accounts, thus increasing our revenue potential and gaining market share. The Account Manager will effectively promote the Avis and Budget brands, products and services to Travel Managers, Travel Agents and Corporate Executives, within the assigned territory. Best-qualified candidates will have an exposure selling to corporate headquarters and have had car rental or travel related experience.

Develop a thorough knowledge of Avis and Budget products
Qualify and secure new business opportunities and strengthen existing accounts
Develop and implement effective sales strategies that maximize sales opportunities
Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market penetration
Deliver effective presentations including proposals to customers and business reviews to management
Identify, respond and solve business issues for customers and provide win-win solutions that add value
Coordinate the negotiation of rates and contract terms to solidify pending deals
Close deals and effectively communicate the value of Avis and/or Budget solutions and how they will meet the customers needs and business objectives
Maintain account files, report documentation and proposals/bids using the Salesforce.com system

Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willing to relocate



Required Experience
Bachelors Degree required
Minimum of two years successful outside sales/account management
Travel is required and candidate must have a valid driver’s license
