CARFAX, a leading provider of vehicle history information, is seeking Account Managers to join our Customer Relations Team at our corporate offices in Fairfax, Virginia. The Account Manager position is primarily phone based and employees are responsible for the overall management and success of their assigned territories of CARFAX business subscribers.

 

Primary responsibilities of this role:

 Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase new subscriber usage and revenue as well as converting at risk usage locations.Provide consultative services to subscribers in order to identify the vest solutions for their needs.Resell and up sell CARFAX services and programs to build product value awareness and improve subscriber retention.Overcome subscriber requests to discontinue their service and stimulate usage on saved accounts.Work with car dealers to incorporate CARFAX into their business process.Maintain systematic, consistent and reliable subscriber contacts and document contact information into the CARFAX customer database.Reduce lost business by proactively identifying and resolving any issues a subscriber may have regarding CARFAX.Communicate subscriber issues and success stories to management.Represent CARFAX in positive and professional demeanor at all times with our customers and support a team-oriented workplace with other CARFAX departments.

 

Primary requirements of this role:

?  Account Managers must be able to clearly articulate business drivers and concepts with customers.

?  Ability to establish and expand relationships with key managers and decision makers within each subscriber location.

?  Engaging, highly energized and proactive in order to provide outstanding customer service.

?  Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.

?  Proven verbal and written communication skills.

?  Strong work ethic.

?  Ability to work and coordinate with others as well as the ability to work independently.

 

 CARFAX data is relied on by millions of buyers and sellers of used cars to make better decisions in the car buying and selling process. Using the unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN) found on vehicle dashboards and title documents, we instantly generate a detailed vehicle history report on used cars and light trucks. Our database contains more than four billion records generated from thousands of public and private sources, including all Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMV?s) in the United States and Canada, as well as many vehicle inspection stations, auto auctions, fleet management and rental agencies, automobile manufacturers, and fire and police departments.
