Qualifications:
We are seeking a proven sales professional with experience as a manufacturer?s rep to maintain current customer base and develop new accounts within the upholstered furniture industry. This position will be based in Pico Rivera, CA.
Primary responsibilities:
Learn the business issues facing each individual account- company strengths, weaknesses, customer base and product line. Incorporate this knowledge into sales strategy to help expand sales volume.Become Familiar with customer patterns, criteria and pricing.Create and execute an effective call plan for maintenance accounts and new targeted accounts.Work with Regional Sales Manager to maintain sales goals and project future business trends.Account Development- continual interface with customers to ensure the company meets and exceeds customer expectations.Build strong working relationships with all levels within the customer?s organization.Completion of a daily, weekly and monthly sales report activities as assigned by Regional Sales Manager.Promote PCFCC business agenda.
Skill Set RequirementsMinimum of three years experience as a manufacturer?s service rep required. Upholstered furniture experience a plus.Strong communication skills- both verbal and written.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong multi- tasking skills.Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Email.Local travel required.If you are a highly motivated individual that possesses a strong work ethic this is the position for you.College degree preferred.
