Account Support Representative(Bilingual-Spanish/English)
The Account Support Rep (ASR) is responsible for indirect/third party retail sales channels in the local markets and executes all support strategies/tactics for obtaining unit objectives. In addition, the ASR is accountable for training, merchandising and sales support in the assigned market area to meet sales and profit objectives. Responsible for training third party employees on MetroPCS and its product and services; works with Account Manager and third party retailers to utilize any MetroPCS co-op or MDF fund within MetroPCS guidelines. This position requires a team player who is professional in appearance, dress, presentation and interactions with others. Must be able to take direction well, yet make decisions independent of immediate supervisor from time to time. Must possess a mature outlook and be able to make sound judgments. Must adhere to the highest standards of ethics and integrity based on the Core Values of MetroPCS.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Achieves and exceeds all sales and support objectives.Supports indirect/third party retail distribution channels.Maintains accurate reporting and forecasts.Effectively communicates and executes approved compensation plans and supports competitive analysis and review of effectiveness of programs.Sets up and delivers all training requirements for third party retailers in the markets.Supports local promotional events for indirect/third party retail channels.Assists third party retailer in merchandising retail locations with MetroPCS POS material and actively participates in maintaining professional appearance of retailer.Acts as liaison to communicate product news, information and policies between indirect/third party retailer and Metro PCS Management.Provides sales and marketing assistance, recommendations and guidance to indirect retailers.Responsible for communicating information to Account Manager or Director pertinent to indirect retailers? production, customer service and business practices.Keeps accurate, timely, detailed records of all support and visit activitiesAssists in resolving escalated customer service issuesEffectively manages time to maximize effectiveness and productivity
Key Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be an effective communicator and be very positive in all business dealingsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc). are requiredMust be able to execute approved support plans and follow company policiesMust be able to work through conflict resolution with retailers whose objectives may differ from company strategies.Must be able to think quickly and logically to resolve all issuesMust achieve results as outlined in monthly/quarterly objectivesPosition requires reliable, personal transportation to maintain daily route to retailers/third party doors as assignedExcellent time management skills are requiredPositive attitude is required at all timesBilingual-Spanish/English preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Position requires indirect/direct/retail support experience. Local market knowledge is essential. Minimum 2 years in wireless industry is preferred. College degree preferred. Bilingual-Spanish/English preferred.
