Assoc.Relationship Manager - Inside Sales

Responsibilities:

- Develop and pursue new business opportunities through telephone sales, occasional onsite meetings and other related efforts (i.e. proposals, follow-up, etc.) to meet an assigned revenue goal.
- Contact primary customers from each account on a routine basis to probe new data and access needs to increase revenue potential. This includes customer relationship management, introduction of new products/services/data,  managing a training plan and facilitating handling and resolution of client issues or problems.
- Negotiate closure of new contracts with the assistance of Sales Director or VP Sales, and facilitate the customer setup process to ensure new users become active in a timely manner so they can quickly assess ChoicePoint's services.
- Facilitate product tests and convey feedback to Sales Director or VP Sales and product teams.
- Create and submit reports as directed by Sales Director or VP Sales related to sales activities, new business opportunities and forecasted revenue, and participate in department and product meetings.
- Attend tradeshows and conduct competitive analysis.

 

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
0-1 years relevant business experience

Skills/Knowledge:
Strong customer service skills
Sales skills
Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel, Access)
Negotiation skills 
Strong phone experience
Ability to work both independently and as a member of the sales team. Aggressive learner
May utilize a PC, fax machine, TV/VCR, overhead projection, printer or copy machine.
Preferred: Knowledge of Public Records and prior account management experience.
