Category Analyst

RaceTrac Petroleum, the 2nd largest privately owed company in Atlanta Georgia, is looking for a Category Analyst to join our team. RaceTrac currently owns over 500 convenience stores and is anticipating growing by 35-45 stores per year for the next five years.


The Category Analyst is responsible for product selection and evaluation, pricing decision making, implementation and maintenance, communication with stores and vendors with pricing information and work on various projects as needed. In additions, this individual may direct the work of others, and offer recommendations to his/her supervisor with regards, to hiring, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and terminating personnel as necessary. This individual develops the competencies and skills of others through training, assistance and problem resolution.

Job Requirements: This position requires a bachelor?s degree and 3-5 years experience. The qualified individual must possess strong communication/negotiation skills, telephone and organizational skills, be detailed oriented and multi-task.
